At Communication Systems Engineering at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev cutting-edge research is conducted by top tier scientists and world renowned researchers, who focus on the fields of networking, hardware, software, and the communication technologies that are required by the industry, in addition to training more than 60 engineering students annually for B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees.
Leading in its applied research approach, the Department of CSE at BGU collaborates closely with both Israeli and global hi-tech companies and is associated with several innovative startups.

Leading in its applied research approach, the Department of CSE at BGU collaborates closely with both Israeli and global hi-tech companies and is associated with several innovative startups.
The Department of CSE participates in FP7 projects (under the framework of national and European consortia), and its faculty has broad expertise covering network optimization, queuing theory, graph theory, network protocols, algorithms, signal processing, network coding, hardware design, and physical layer communications.
The M.Sc. program is a two-year thesis (research) track program. Applicants are required to contact an advisor for the program prior to applying.
